Love
Roy Croft

I love you,
Not only for what you are,
But for what I am
When I am with you.
I love you,
Not only for what
You have made of yourself,
But for what
You are making of me.
I love you
For the part of me
That you bring out;
I love you
For putting your hand
Into my heaped-up heart
And passing over
All the foolish, weak things
That you can't help
Dimly seeing there,

And for drawing out
Into the light
All the beautiful belongings
That no one else had looked
Quite far enough to find.
I love you because you
Are helping me to make
Of the lumber of my life
Not a tavern
But a temple;
Out of the works
Of my every day

Not a reproach
But a song.
I love you
Because you have done
More than any creed
Could have done
To make me good,
And more than any fate
Could have done
To make me happy.

You have done it
Without a touch,
Without a word,
Without a sign.
You have done it
By being yourself.
Perhaps that is what
Being a friend means,
After all.

I am a princess because my father is the king of kings.

LOVE LIKE YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN HURT

"life is not measured in the number of breaths we take but in the number of moments that take our breath away"

Relationships are like glass. Sometimes it's better to leave them broken than try to hurt yourself putting it back together.

The Main thing is not to hurry. Nothing good gets away.

Trying to forget someone you love is like trying to remember someone you never knew.

its better to lose a love than to love a loser!!

A new wound makes all the old ones ache again.

God is closest to those with broken hearts.

Giving up doesn't always mean you are weak; sometimes it means that you are strong enough to let go.....Maybe part of loving is learning to let go.

"if you do it you'll regreat it if you dont do it you'll regret so you might as well do it cuz either way you'll regret it"

"If your love does not work with a person, it just means that someone else loves you more."

I never knew until that moment how bad it could hurt to lose something you never really had.

NEVER SAY NEVER!!

Now say you're a bird too. If you're a bird, I'm a bird.

So it's not gonna be easy. It's gonna be really hard. We're gonna have to work at this every day, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, for ever, you and me, every day.

It's not about keeping your promises, it's about following your heart.

...But in spite their differences, they had one important thing in common, they were crazy about each other.

Summer romances begin for all kinds of reasons, but when all is said and done, they have one thing in common. They're shooting stars, a spectacular moment of light in the heavens, fleeting glimpse of eternity, and in a flash they're gone.

We belong together
And you that I’m right
Why do you play with my head,
Hy do you play with my mind?

Said we’d be forever
Said it’d never die
How could you love me and leave me
And never say good-bye?

I can’t sleep at night without holding you tight
Each time I try I just break down and cry
Pain in my head oh I’d rather be dead
Spinnin’ around and around

Although we’ve come to the end of the road
Still I can’t let you go
It’s unnatural, you belong to me, I belong to you
Come to the end of the road
Still I can’t let you go
It’s unnatural, you belong to me, I belong to you

I know you really love me,
You just don’t realize
You’ve never been there before
It’s only your first time

Maybe I’ll forgive you, hmm
Maybe you’ll try
We should be happy together
Forever, you and i

You love me again like you loved me before
This time I want you to love me much more
This time instead just come to my bed
And baby just don’t let me, don’t let me down

Although we’ve come to the end of the road
Still I can’t let you go
It’s unnatural, you belong to me, I belong to you
Come to the end of the road
Still I can’t let you go
It’s unnatural, you belong to me, I belong to you

I’m here for you
All those times of night when you just hurt me
And just run out with that other fella
Baby I knew about it, I just didn’t care
You just don’t understand how much I love you do you?
I’m here for you

I’m not out to go out and cheat on you all night
Just like you did baby but that’s all right
Hey, I love you anyway
And I’m still gonna be here for you ’till my dying day baby
Right now, I’m just in so much pain baby
Coz you just won’t come back to me
Will you? just come back to me

Yes baby my heart is lonely
My heart hurts baby
Yes I feel pain too
Baby please

This time instead just come to my bed
And baby just don’t let me go

As we grow up we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let us down, probably will.

You'll have your heart broken and you'll break others hearts.

You'll blame a new love for things an old love did.

You'll fight with your bestfriend.

You'll cry because time is flying by.

You'll eventually lose somebody you love.

So take too many pictures, laugh too much, forgive freely and love like you've never been hurt...Cause every second you spend angry or upset is a second of happiness you can never get back.

Whine less, breathe more;
Talk less, say more;
Hate less, love more;

we had to read some poems for my english 1302 class and i thought these were really good so i'm going to post them here...

Let Me Not to the Marriage of True Minds
by: William Shakespeare
Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments.  Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove.
O no, it is an ever-fixed mark
That look on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wand'ring bark,
Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.
Love's not Time's fool, through rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come;
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man every loved.

Tonight I Can Write...
by: Pablo Neruba
Tonight I can write the saddest lines.

Write, for example, "The night is shattered
and the blue stars shiver in the distance."

The night wind revolves in the sky and sings.

Tonight I can write the saddest lines.
I loved her, and sometimes she loved me too.

Through nights like this one I held her in my arms.
I kissed her again and again under the endless sky.

She loved me, sometimes I loved her too.
How could one not have loved her great still eyes.

Tonight I can write the saddest lines.
To think that I do not have her.  To feel that I have lost her.

To hear the immense night, still more immense without her.
And the verse falls to the soul like dew to the pasture.

What does it matter that my love could not keep her.
The night is shattered and she is not with me.

This is all.  In the distance someone is singing.  In the distance.
My soul is not satisfied that it has lost her.

My sight searches for her as though to go to her.
My heart looks for her, and she is not with me.

The same night whitening the same trees.
We, of that time, are no longer the same.

I no longer lover her, that's certain, but how I loved her.
My voice tried to find the wind to touch her hearing.

Another's.  She will be another's.  Like my kisses before,
Her voice.  Her bright body.  Her infinite eyes.

I no longer love her, that's certain, but maybe I love her.
Love is so short, forgetting is so long.

Because through nights like this one I held her in my arms
my soul is not satisfied that it has lost her.

Though this be the last pain that she makes me suffer
and these the last verses that I write for her.
